2007 Ontario Regionals - Accommodations

Updated News About On-Site Camping

Regionals Camping Guidelines -contact Don with any other questions or concerns.

1. All camping sites (serviced sites and unserviced) will be approx. 25 ft. by 50 ft.
2. One camping site may accommodate one motorized vehicle (excluding buses) and its occupants.
i.e. A motorhome, one travel trailer and tow vehicle, one tent-trailer and tow vehicle, one car/van and tents. For Example: If 3 people come in one van and each wants a tent and all this will fit
3. Generators only between 6am and 9 pm.
4. One area will be designated "Generator free" for the comfort of tenters and others who prefer not to share with even very quiet generators.
5. Those requesting a pump out may be in the same area. Easier for the "Honey Wagon".
6. A reminder to all - there is ONLY one shower. Who knows how much hot water there is!

Imporant News About the Huron College rooms from Linda Barton

Are you wondering about what the accomodation at Huron College offers?  I hope this description will help!

The green space surrounding Huron College truly is spectacular! The traffic on campus that weekend is minimal. Peaceful place, and great for the dogs.

Hellmuth Hall residence will be ours. This three story building has an elevator. Think student dormitory - single beds, desk, closet, bedding and bath linen supplied.

On each floor there are single rooms, and double rooms. The single rooms share a common bathroom with two showers, 2 toilets and 3 sinks.  You could be sharing this bathroom with up to 5-6 other Regionals competitors.

The double rooms are found in 'quads'. Double means two single beds in a room. A quad consists of two double rooms, a bathroom, and a small hallway. The four people in the 'quad' share a bathroom. Each quad unit is separated from the single rooms by a doorway.

If you want to share a quad with friends, or to be in a single on the same floor as your friends, you need to clearly indicate this in your reservation.

Just like the residence does, I will book women only into singles and men into quads.

I will be there on the weekend to check you in - my husband Tom and I will be your hosts.  You will find us in the Lounge directly in front of you when you enter the building. We give you a key, a map to show you where your room is, and last but not least a warm welcome for you and your dogs!

Parking in included in the room cost.  There is a fridge in the lounge. Coin laundry is on the first floor. Check out is noon.  Morning coffee is free!
